Report writing,
without the names.
Write short notes on each pupil, let the tool turn them into report comments, and add the names back yourself. Pupil names never go into the tool.
The workflow
- Write three or four bullet notes per pupil, using codes (P1, P2) rather than names.
- Ask the AI to turn them into your school’s report style.
- Add the names back locally, on your own device or school system.
- Read every report before it goes home.
A prompt to adapt
Rewrite each set of notes below as a short end-of-year report comment for a Year 9 [subject] pupil. Use a warm, professional tone and UK spelling. Keep each comment under 80 words and include one clear next step. Keep the codes (P1, P2) at the start of each comment. P1: [notes] P2: [notes]
Paste in an example of a report your school would be happy with, and the drafts will sit much closer to your house style.
What to check
- Every comment is accurate for that pupil, and the codes haven’t been mixed up.
- Nothing is said that you wouldn’t say at parents' evening.
- The tone is consistent, and comments don’t read as interchangeable.
The standard
The report goes out under your name. If you wouldn’t sign it, rewrite it.
